Jinting Zhao

Jinting Zhao has been a proud part of the Alberta pop and urban scenes since she was a teenager as a writer, producer, artist and vocal coach. A former recording artist with Sony Music Taiwan, she wrote, recorded, and released two mandarin-language pop music albums in Asia. As a songwriter she was chosen to participate in the prestigious Songwriters’ Association of Canada Songworks songwriters camp in Alberta, and is being mentored by international publishing house Chapter 2 Productions Inc. president Vincent Degiorgio. As an artist, she was the recipient of a Hot Factor showcase award from radio station Hot 107 and receives regular airplay.
A committed supporter of music and the arts, Jinting has years of experience working to develop music talent in Alberta. She served on the committee for Northern Star Talent Search, the premier performing arts talent competition program in Northern Alberta. She has served on numerous FACTOR program juries over the years, and consistently supports Alberta Music’s events and initiatives. Her company PopFizz Productions’ mandate is to help Alberta artists find performance opportunities in the private and non-profit event spheres.
