Unicorn Music Studios was founded in 1993 by Paul. The studio was first located in the Mr. Entertainment music store located at Bower Mall, Red Deer, Alberta. After the music store closed, Paul moved the music studio to a new location on Ross Street, in the heart of Red Deer. The studio remained in this location for more than six years but after parking became an issue for patrons the decision was made to move the studio to a location closer to the much sought after parking in the downtown area. At this time the studio moved to a highly visible location on 50th street with two neighbouring parking lots readily available. However, as is wont to happen in Red Deer, the parking lots disappeared after a bank and an insurance building were built on their locations. Once again a decision was made to move the studio to a new location but this time a location was found with a ground level entrance and great accessibility, a premium in the highly competitive commercial climate of Red Deer. The studios have been in business for seventeen years and have been at their present location for three years.
Our teachers our the finest Central Alberta has to offer and genuinely care about their students’ music education. We, as teachers, take great pride in providing our students with a quality education in a friendly, fun and safe environment. We have taught a great variety of students over the years, from young children to people in retirement, and we look forward to providing music lessons to all of Central Alberta for many years to come!
