Candace Elder

Candace Elder has an extensive background in arts planning, programming and management through her work with a variety of artists and arts organizations. She facilitated artist-in-residence programs for a wide range of international artists at the world-renowned Banff Centre, worked several years in artist management, coordinated tours for independent musicians, post secondary choral and ensemble groups and has organized a large number of events, festivals and performances. Now in her fourth year at Cantos Music Foundation, Candace feeds her passion for music and the arts community through her work as Public Programs Officer. Cantos Music Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission it is to create engaging and educational music experiences using its unique collection, its cultural spac¬es and its expertise. After a decade of successful programming, Cantos is in the process of building a National Music Centre; a world-class destination, giving Canada a place that amplifies the love, the sharing and the understanding of music.
